A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 2 adds Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale & more

Season 2 of Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events has a hard job ahead of it in attempting to top the first season (which, for our money, was pretty much perfect), but it looks like it’s going to give it a good go.

The already immaculate cast just got even better, with five new cast members joining the series for Season 2. Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Tony Hale (Arrested Development), Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect), Lucy Punch (Hot Fuzz) and Roger Bart (The Producers) make up the new additions, and now we’re even more excited. Details regarding their characters haven’t been released yet, but we’re sure to get some more news in due course.

But from that list, it looks like A Series Of Unfortunate Events is going bigger on the comedy this year and we’re not mad.

The new cast members join series regulars Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf, Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, Malina Weissman as Violet Baudelaire, Louis Hynes as Klaus Baudelaire, Presley Smith as Sunny Baudelaire and K Todd Freeman as Mr Poe.

Seriously though, if you haven’t seen A Series Of Unfortunate Events already, we advise you to go and check it out on Netflix ASAP. It’s wonderful.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 2 doesn’t yet have an air date. You can stream Season 1 on Netflix now. Get all the latest fantasy news with every issue of SciFiNow.
