We might not have to wait long for a second season of Netflix series The OA: co-creator, writer, executive producer and star Brit Marling recently confirmed on Twitter that all eight scripts for Season 2 have been written and, better yet, filming will officially begin in January.
Excited and terrified by the road map of these 8 scripts, which took us all summer and fall to write. Shooting Part II of @The_OA starts Jan 2018. Here goes something… @z_al@BARFHpic.twitter.com/1xWKdrtXjQ

There’s not much else we can conclude from the picture, besides that Part II, Chapter 1 will be titled ‘Angel Of Death‘ (take from that what you will), and Part II, Chapter 4 is called ‘Syzygy‘, which is even more cryptic.
For those unfamiliar with the show, you can read the synopsis here:
Prairie Johnson, a missing blind girl, returns to the community she grew up in with her sight restored. Some hail her a miracle, others a dangerous mystery, but Prairie won’t talk about her seven missing years with anyone except four teenage boys whom she tells her story to in order to recruit them for a mission.
The OA stars Brit Marling, Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson, Phyllis Smith, Alice Krige, Patrick Gibson, Brendan Meyer, Brandon Perea, Ian Alexander and Jason Isaacs. It was created by Marling and Zal Batmanglij.
