Supernatural horror Pyewacket hits Glasgow FrightFest this weekend ahead of its UK release in April, and we have an exclusive artwork reveal for you!
The film comes from writer-director Adam MacDonald and follows a young girl as she enacts an occult ritual and suffers the terrifying consequences… The cast includes Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead, The Mist) Nicole Munoz (Hemlock Grove, Once Upon A Time), Chloe Rose (Hellions) and James McGowan (Suicide Squad), and comes from the producers of The Witch and The Void (pretty good pedigree there!).
“After her father dies, teenager Leah is forced, by her unstable mother, to leave her friends behind and move to a house in the woods. Feeling isolated and hopeless, Leah turns to Black Magic to release her anger. She naively performs an occult ritual found in a book on her bedroom shelf to invoke the spirit of a witch to kill her mother. Terrified by strange occurrences, and stricken by guilt, Leah desperately tries to reverse the spell, but soon realizes she has awoken something in the woods… and nothing can prepare her for the terror that has been unleashed.”
PYEWACKET is showing at Glasgow FrightFest on Saturday 3rd March at 1:15pm.
It is released on Digital HD 16th April and DVD on 23rd April 2018 from Signature Entertainment.
