Not much (if anything) is given away in the first poster for Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Dario Argento’s Suspiria, but it’s still quite striking.
You can read the synopsis for the new film here:
Suspiria is set in 1977 Berlin and follows a young American woman who joins a prestigious dance company. She arrives just as one of the members mysteriously disappears. As her stock in the company rises, she begins to suspect that the dance troupe is harbouring a disturbing secret.
The film is being directed by Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash, Call Me By Your Name) from a screenplay by David Kajganich. It stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia Goth and Jessica Harper. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke is writing the score.
