Jamie Lee Curtis is waiting for the boogeyman in the awesome first trailer for Halloween
The first trailer has finally dropped for David Gordon Green’s Halloween and it’s exactly what we were hoping for: a blend of loving tributes to moments from the original and a truly badass Laurie Strode. Check it out:
Well, this looks excellent. We’re loving Jamie Lee Curtis’ fierce warrior Laurie, and it’s so great to see that Green’s picked out nice little moments and feelings from the original movie. Bring on October.
“Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
The film also stars Judy Greer, Will Patton, Nick Castle, Andi Matichak and Omar J. Dorsey, and was written by Green and Danny McBride. John Carpenter is an executive producer and he’ll also be providing the film’s score.
Halloween is released on 19 October. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
