Showrunner Chris Chibnall, star Jodie Whittaker and more talk about reinventing Doctor Who for Series 11 in this new featurette.
Announced directors for Doctor Who Series 11 include Sallie Aprahamian (Extremely Dangerous, The Sins), Jamie Childs (the director behind Whittaker’s casting reveal), Jennifer Perrott (award-winning short film The Ravens), and Mark Tonderai (a director with a whole load of genre experience, including episodes of Lucifer, Gotham, Black Lightning and Nightflyers, and House At The End Of The Street).
Confirmed writers include Malorie Blackman (the author of the Noughts And Crosses series), Ed Hime (Skins), Vinay Patel (Murdered By My Father), Pete McTighe (original writer of Australian prison drama Wentworth), and Joy Wilkinson (The Life And Adventures Of Nick Nickleby).
