There’s a female-led Grimm spin-off series on the way, and it will feature old and new characters
There’s fantastic news on the horizon for those who have been sorely missing NBC fantasy series Grimm since it concluded last year: the network is reportedly working on a spin-off series.
It will build off the mythology of the original series and feature returning fan favourite characters, as well as new characters, dangers and mysteries. Even more interestingly, it is also set to revolve around a female Grimm.
The currently untitled spin-off is being written by Marvel’s Iron Fist‘s Melissa Glenn, who served as a writer and executive producer on the original series. Grimm‘s Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner will also return to executive producing duties under their Hazy Mills banner.
Two of the original show’s three co-creators, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, will act as consulting producers. Universal Television will produce the series in association with Hazy Mills.
The currently untitled Grimm spin-off series doesn’t yet have an air date. Get all the latest fantasy news with every issue of SciFiNow.
