Rebecca Hall has been cast in a lead role in Legendary’s upcoming monster showdown Godzilla Vs Kong, according to Variety. Nothing else is known about her character so far.
Hall is best known for her work in the likes of The Town, Starter For 10 and Christine, but genre fans will likely know her from The Prestige, Iron Man 3 and Professor Marston And The Wonder Women.
She joins a cast already made up of Alexander Skarsgård, Demián Bichir, Millie Bobby Brown, Danai Gurira, Kyle Chandler, Julian Dennison, Ziyi Zhang and Brian Tyree Henry.
As the film’s title suggestions, Godzilla Vs Kong will revolve around the meeting of and subsequent fight between Godzilla and King Kong, but not much else is currently known about the plot. Production on the film is set to start in November in Atlanta.
Godzilla Vs Kong will be director Adam Wingard’s next film to hit cinemas. Wingard is best known for helming the likes of The Guest, Blair Witch and You’re Next.
