Brit superhero webseries The Few adds Batman star Kevin Conroy


British superhero webseries The Few has just got geekier: the series has officially added Kevin Conroy, who voiced the Caped Crusader in Warner Bros TV show Batman: The Animated Series, to the cast for Series 2.

The news was announced today by production company Praxima. But Conroy’s appearance in the series is of course dependant on The Few reaching its goal on crowdfunding site Indiegogo, so get donating to make it happen!

The Few was created by Sam Benjamin and Sam Bradford. Benjamin also stars and writes, while Bradford directs.

In this second season, The Few: Dark Future sees the heat get turned up on our ‘Rogue Detective’ an unlikely mentor emerges, played by KEVIN CONROY. The café owner BOBBY ‘SHAKESPEARE’ SMITH has seemingly discovered the Rogue Detective’s identity, but clearly has a dark secret of his own to hide.

The season picks up six months after the confrontation of the first season where we learn of a major death, a life changing secret, and a brand new villain who discovers the identity of our super-powered ‘Lions’, and is hell bent on wreaking havoc in the world of our heroes.

Alongside Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Killing Joke) and Sam Benjamin, The Few: Dark Future will feature returning talent: Kyla Frye (Are We Dead YetEdge Of Tomorrow), Vincent Jerome (Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen), Kim Vithana (Coronation Street) and Sonny Louis (Game Of ThronesWonder Woman).
