Read the synopsis for Jordan Peele’s latest, Us
There’s been a lot of mystery surrounding Get Out director Jordan Peele’s follow-up film Us, but now we finally have something solid: a plot synopsis.
A mother (Lupita Nyong’o) and a father (Winston Duke) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Elizabeth Moss). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.
It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing.
The film will star Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon and Noelle Sheldon, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop alongside Nyong’o, Duke and Moss.
As with Get Out, Peele is set to direct from his own script for Universal. He’s also producing via his Monkeypaw Productions banner alongside Sean McKittrick and Jason Blum, and Monkeypaw’s Ian Cooper.
Us is in cinemas on 15 March 2019. Get all the latest horror news with every issue of SciFiNow.
