She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power will live to fight another day: Netflix has renewed the show for Season 2.
Following the series’ successful debut last year, it sounds as though the streaming service is keep to get as much out of it as possible, with new episodes being scheduled to premiere on 26 April.
The reboot of the 1980’s classic animated series impressed viewers with its first season, which followed Adora as she discovered a magical sword that let her become superhero She-Ra.

She–Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She–Ra. Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.

The show hails from Eisner Award-winning author and executive producer Noelle Stevenson (Lumberjanes, Nimona) and executive producer Chuck Austen. The first season of She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power was praised by fans for its diverse characters, which included people of colour and LGBTQ representation.
