A new full-length tailer for Australian sci-fi thriller I Am Mother has arrived via Netflix, and you can check it out below:
The film was acquired by Netflix following its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival, so you’ll be able to catch the film on the streaming service on 7 June 2019.
I Am Mother stars Hillary Swank (Million Dollar Baby, Boys Don’t Cry), Rose Byrne (Bad Neighbours, Bridesmaids) and Clara Rugaard (Teen Spirit, Good Favour).
It follows a teenage girl (Rugaard) who is the first of a new generation of humans to be raised by Mother (Byrne), a robot designed to repopulate Earth after the extinction of humankind. The pair’s unique relationship is threatened when an injured stranger (Swank) arrives with news that calls into question everything Daughter has been told about the outside world and her Mother’s intentions.
The script was penned by Michael Lloyd Green, and Kelvin Munro and Timothy White produce. Paris Kasidokostas Latsis, Terry Dougas, Jean-Luc De Fanti, Bryce Menzies, Sputore, Philip Wade and John Wade all serve as executive producers.
