Joel Kinnaman is reprising his role as Rick Flag in The Suicide Squad
In case you had any doubts, Joel Kinnaman is officially reprising his role as Rick Flag in James Gunn’s upcoming sequel Suicide Squad.
Kinnaman revealed the news in a post on his Instagram account.
He wrote: “At the range with my great friend and teacher @kevinlvance and Lele the Italian stallion. Easing into that squad preppppp…. thanks @tarantactical for letting us use the range!”
The actor joins his original Suicide Squad cast mates Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, as well as David Dastmalchian as the Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher and Idris Elba in an undisclosed role.
It was also believed that Michael Rooker would be joining the film as villain King Shark but Rooker himself insisted that those rumours weren’t true.
The Suicide Squad is being written and directed by James Gunn, and produced by Michael De Luca, Peter Safran, Deborah Snyder and Zack Snyder, with Lars P Winther serving as a co-producer.
