Samara Weaving has to fight to survive the in-laws in Ready Or Not
The new trailer for horror comedy Ready Or Not has landed and it looks like an absolute hoot. Check it out:
The film sees new bride Samara Weaving (recently cast as Thea Preston in Bill & Ted Face The Music) marrying into a family of board game creators, who suggest a game of hide and seek to welcome her into the family. The game turns out to be a blood sacrifice, and Weaving’s Grace has to fight to survive her first night with the in-laws.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Devil’s Due), the film also stars Andie MacDowell (Four Weddings And A Funeral) and Henry Czerny (Sharp Objects) as Grace’s new parents-in-law and Mark O’Brien (Halt And Catch Fire) as her new husband.
The cast is rounded out by Adam Brody (The OC), Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp) and Kristian Bruun (Orphan Black). If you think we won’t be there for Orphan Black’s Donnie struggling to use a crossbow, then you’re dead wrong.
Ready Or Not is released on 27 September 2019. Get all the latest horror news with every issue of SciFiNow.
