Clive Owen will star opposite Julianne Moore in Stephen King’s Lisey’s Story
Clive Owen has been cast in the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series Lisey’s Story, according to Deadline.
The series is based on Stephen King’s 2006 horror-romance novel of the same name. It follows Lisey two years after the death of her husband, when a series of events forces Lisey to face certain unsavoury realities about his husband that she had repressed and forgotten.
Julianne Moore is starring as titular character Lisey, while Owen will play Lisey’s husband Scott Landon.
Lisey’s Story will be an eight-hour limited series from JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot Production and Warner Bros Television. King himself has written every episode of the series, and will serve as an executive producer.
Academy Award-nominee Owen is best known for his roles in films like Closer (2004), Sin City (2005), Derailed (2005), Inside Man (2006) and Children Of Men (2006).
