The Mandalorian speaks in this new trailer for Disney+’s upcoming Star Wars series
The bounty hunter speaks for the first time in this brand new trailer for The Mandalorian. Check it out now:
The series will star Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the titular Mandalorian, with Gina Carano (Deadpool), Nick Nolte (Affliction), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods) and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man).
The Mandalorian has been penned by Jon Favreau, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels‘ Dave Filoni has directed the first episode. Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow direct subsequent episodes. Filoni is also executive producing the show alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Favreau and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is serving as a co-executive producer.
The show takes place after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, and will follow the adventures of a lone gunfighter (Pascal) in the outer reaches of the galaxy, away from the authority of the New Republic. The show will air on Disney’s upcoming streaming service Disney+.
