M Night Shyamalan’s Servant has been renewed for Season 2 ahead of its premiere on Apple TV+
Apple TV+ is going wild with the ‘renewal’ button. The streamer has officially greenlit Servant Season 2 ahead of its series premiere on 28 November (via Variety).
Servant is just one of many Apple original series to be renewed ahead of their Season 1 premieres, after See, For All Mankind, Dickinson and The Morning Show.
The psychological thriller stars Toby Kebbell (Black Mirror), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Nell Tiger Free (Game Of Thrones) and Rupert Grint (Harry Potter).
It follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning following the death of their baby. When the loss creates a rift in their marriage, the couple attempts to deal with their emotions through adopting a lifelike baby doll. But things get weird when they hire a nanny and a mysterious force enters their home.
Season 1 of the show will be made up of ten episodes. It was created by Tony Basgallop and executive produced by Basgallop, M Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black and Steve Tisch. Taylor Latham and Patrick Markey serve as co-EPs. Shyamalan also directed several episodes of the series.
