Blumhouse TV’s Nocturne casts Sydney Sweeney and Madison Iseman


Sydney Sweeney and Madison Iseman join Nocturne, the first film in Blumhouse TV’s Amazon Studios deal


Blumhouse TV’s upcoming supernatural thriller Nocturne has found its stars in the form of Sydney Sweeney and Madison Iseman, according to Deadline. The film is the first in Blumhouse TV’s 8-movie deal with Amazon Studios.

Sweeney is known for playing Cassie Howard in HBO drama Euphoria. She has also had recurring roles in HBO miniseries Sharp Objects, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, and Netflix comedy Everything Sucks!, and recently appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Iseman is best known for playing Bethany in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Sarah in Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween and Mary Ellen in Annabelle Comes Home. Her other credits include sitcom Still The King and Feast Of The Seven Fishes. She’s also set to appear in upcoming Jumanji sequel Jumanji: The Next Level.

The film will follow an “incredibly gifted pianist who makes a Faustian bargain to overtake her older sister at a prestigious institution for classical musicians.”

Sweeney and Iseman join a cast made up of Jacques Colimon (The Society) and Ivan Shaw (Pearson). British-Irish filmmaker Zu Quirke will be helming the film in her feature directorial debut, and will also be penning the script.

Jason Blum, Lisa Bruce, Marci Wiseman and Jeremy Gold are all producing, with Matthew Myers and Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly serving as executive producers.
