Ming-Na Wen and Nick Nolte star in this new teaser for Star Wars series The Mandalorian
Ming-Na Wen and Nick Nolte make their first appearances as assassin Fennec Shand and the voice of the Ugnaught Kuiil in this new trailer for Star Wars series The Mandalorian, available to stream on Disney+ from 12 November.
The series also stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the titular Mandalorian, with Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods) and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man).
The Mandalorian was penned by Jon Favreau, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels‘ Dave Filoni directs the first episode. Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow direct subsequent episodes. Filoni is also serving as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Favreau and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist serves as co-executive producer.
The show takes place after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, and will follow the adventures of a lone gunfighter (Pascal) in the outer reaches of the galaxy, away from the authority of the New Republic.
The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ on 12 November 2019. Get all the latest sci-fi news with every issue of SciFiNow.
